434 Animal Hospital in Longwood, FL (a suburb of Orlando) is seeking to hire a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join our two doctor small animal exclusive practice. We are offering a SIGN ON BONUS! And tons of mentoring, so new grads are welcome to apply!
We are seeking someone with solid medical case handling ability and skill in performing routine soft tissue surgeries.
In addition to the above qualifications, the ability to collaborate with others, passion for the field and your patients/clients, contribute to practice growth, and an ability to work independently is required.
This position does not require on-call after-hours emergency work, though you are expected to see emergencies within business hours.
We are located minutes from Orlando and many of Florida’s wonderful beaches and offer a competitive base salary with a production percentage, in addition to a well-rounded benefits package.
Must be able to perform a comprehensive nose to tail physical examination; as well as diagnostics, medical procedures, surgical procedures, and dental procedures on patients while being able to discuss any findings with the client in order to create treatment plans to deliver gold standard veterinary medicine.
Must be able to develop rapport and relationships with clients and team members.
Be able to communicate in a clear and organized fashion.
Be able to maintain paper-based records systems.
Be committed to staying up to date on new medical information and attend Continuing Education meetings.
Be team-work oriented and not afraid to pitch in when needed, regardless of the department.
Be able to adhere to hospital medical and personnel policies.

Valid Florida license (or ability to obtain)
