Christine grew up with dogs, birds, and rabbits. It was in her childhood that she originally got started in the animal field which she always knew would lead her to veterinary medicine. She began working in the veterinary industry in 2000 and has been with 434 Animal Hospital for 14 years, holding various positions within the facility (technician, kennel, and reception--- she is our clinic helper fairy!) but ultimately nesting as a receptionist. One aspect that she loves about working at 434 is the compassion the doctors have for their patients and clients. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, crocheting, camping, and art based hobbies like painting and drawing. She loves 80s rock music, country, and classic rock seeing many artists in concert with her parents- such as Billy Joel and Johnny Cash. If you get a chance, ask her about her mini-zoo at home which includes: 2 dogs Moose and Copper, Bear Hawk the rabbit, Marty the Green Cheek Conure, Izzy her Bearded Dragon, and a variety of fish!
Client Care Specialist
Ashleigh is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She moved to Florida in 2005 right after the summer of hurricanes. She can't remember a time when she wasn't near animals. Growing up around her farm in Tennessee she was lucky to help out with many different species, including delivery of a baby calf! After moving to Florida, she quickly acclimated and became a "real" Floridian! She always wants to be by the beach, if you don't find her there, look out for her hiking at Wekiva or with her 2 fur-children, Zed a 10 year old hound mix, and Bowie, a 5 year old Border Collie. One of Ashleigh's big dreams is to be on a game show some day like Wheel of Fortune or Nailed it! She had gained great experience working in a multi-doctor practice before joining us at 434 Animal Hospital in November of 2019 where she is very happy concentrating on client care! She is very happy with life and most importantly that even during this pandemic she was able to marry her best friend, Philip, and is looking forward to this next phase of life!
