Jackie

Veterinary Technician

Jackie was born and raised in Central Florida, growing up in a large family where animals of every kind were found in her household. With the launch of Animal Planet, Jackie became interested in working with animals at about age 6. Her interest in Veterinary Medicine followed soon thereafter. Following the death of her father as a senior in high school, Jackie found herself lost in life until stumbling upon a Veterinary Technology program in 2009. During her time in school she interned with many local veterinary hospitals, and after completing her internship with 434 Animal Hospital she was offered a position as Veterinary Technician and has not left since! Her biggest love is being a mom to her toddler daughter, especially enjoying outdoor playtime on her 10-acre property with her family. Her favorite bands include the Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers Band, and Slightly Stoopid. She has two dogs, Cooper and Luna, and two cats, Milo and Snoop. She recently adopted Smurph, who lived at 434 Animal Hospital after his rehabilitation from the stray life. She has a full household and would not have it any other way!

Hannah

Veterinary Technician

Hannah was born and raised in Oviedo, Florida. She is currently attending the University of Central Florida, majoring in Biology on the Pre-Veterinary track with a minor in psychology. Although vet school is a few years away, she is interested in a career tied to shelter medicine or veterinary behavior. Outside of work and school, you'll often find Hannah involved in music. She has been playing several instruments since middle school, with her favorite being the bass clarinet. She also likes to crochet in her free time and enjoys making stuffed animals and little hats for her pets the most :) Hannah has two pets, a mini schnauzer named Holly, and recently welcomed a senior cat into her family, Twix. Hannah loves working at 434  Animal Hospital because of the team-centered environment and the opportunities she has to learn more about the veterinary field. The dynamics at the hospital have made her a better technician and have given her wonderful friends in the process.

Andrea

Veterinary Technician

Andrea was born and raised in Longwood. She is currently attending the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!), majoring in Biology on the pre-veterinarian and zoology track. When she’s not on campus or in the office you can find her at the barn on top of a horse. She began riding in middle school, competing in 4-H, and is now riding for the UCF Hunt Seat Team. On the weekends she’s often traveling with her team around the states of Florida and Georgia competing at the collegiate level. Her little shadow, Oakley, is a blue merle Australian Shepherd who’s quickly become a great agility prodigy and is the sweetest barn companion. Some of Andrea’s favorite things about working for 434 Animal Hospital is that teaching is a highly valued component in the practice and the support provided by each staff member.

Presley

Veterinary Technician

Presley was born and raised in Central Florida and has a keen interest in medicine, both human and animal, in fact, as a child Presley was either a Doctor or a Veterinarian every Halloween! She is attending school now to pursue her medical passion with a degree in Nursing. When Presley is not helping here at 434 Animal Hospital, she likes to spend her time being a Florida girl, through and through. You can typically find her at the beach or out at sea fishing or playing fast-pitch softball! She has been to Hawaii to deep sea fish, where she caught a Wahoo that was nearly as tall as her at only 9 years old! She loves to travel and has visited 28 of 50 United States, as well as Canada, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Isalnd! She enjoys the positive and welcoming atmosphere of Dr. Ehlers and the rest of the team. She is currently the "human" that takes care of two Labradors, Mya and Lulu, and 4 cats, Leegyn, Vinnie, Kaya, and Gravy. And don't let us forget, she is even caring for a baby squirrel whom she has named Finn!

Coral

Veterinary Technician

Coral was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida. She is currently attending the University of Central Florida to achieve her bachelor's degree in Pre-Veterinary Sciences and will then go on to work towards her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Coral hopes to practice medicine on large exotic animals such as her favorite animal, giraffes! Outside of work you can always catch Coral somewhere outdoors or writing. She is working towards getting her first book published! Coral likes to volunteer at shelters and non-profit clinics to help give back to the pets in her community. As of now she has over 400 hours of community service through shelters and clinics. She enjoys hanging out with her family and furry friends which include her two dogs Abby and Marley, along with her fearless cat Echo. Coral found more than just coworkers at 434 Animal Hospital; she found a family that has been welcoming in helping her achieve her goals with school, along with teaching her all about how to practice safe and fear free veterinary medicine techniques.
